Did the title surprise you? Allow me to elaborate. Last night was crazy. A didnt like the dinner and was shouted at the highest possible volume. S joined A and began complaining about the parathas and the fact that cooks dont make good food according to their liking. Cutting a long story short.. I retorted, and did my share of shouting at A and when I hit the bed later, I began feeling dizzy.
That has always been the case with me.. I cant handle screaming people at all. Shouts, heated arguments and screams and harping on the same string extract all my energy and patience and then all I need is some peace and tranquillity.
The heated argument last night reminded me of the lovely ambience I enjoyed during my childhood, in my parent's home. What did they do... that enabled me to grow up in a peace-loving and calm atmospehere? Questions tormented my mind and then I turned to my gurdian angel.. a.k.a Google baba (or ma is it? please some one enlighten me.). And then I found my asnwer... and here I have quoted it below for all you young moters, who want their kids to grow up in a nice peace-loving home to become balanced personalities:
'Home is the one place in all this world where hearts are sure of each other. It is the place of confidence. It is the place where we tear off that mask of guarded and suspicious coldness which the world forces us to wear in self-defense, and where we pour out the unreserved communications of full and confiding hearts. It is the spot where expressions of tenderness gush out without any sensation of awkwardness and without any dread of ridicule.' ~Frederick W. Robertson
Now that you've read it, do take steps to implement it and so will I. Let's see how the results pan out. :)
PS: I know it's a beauty blog and not a gyan blog.. but inner beauty is far more important than external glamour and a hollow soul right? :)
